Chiming In

Chiming In

I had it on good authority
My bells were stolen

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0001

I went looking for my bells
I even heard one clang, clang, clang on the trolley!

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0002

Conditions were abominable yet I pressed on
Fear fuelled denizens turning to ludicrous means of escape

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0003

The appearance of a green trail.
A path to haven or horrific clue?

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0004

I kept faith, kept going on
Trudged warily, wearily
through abysmal conditions

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0005

Looking back from whence I came
The green goo eating the purely driven

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0006

There were other clues in dark corners
Go ri? Go where? Go right?
Gori, a derivative of my name?
Gori warnings of what awaited if I continued?

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0014

I heard the bells again and I looked up
Two signs, one of haven, one of danger

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0012

The sound of bells coming from above
Muted, muffled, haunting, ominous
I’d found them and was horrified

Dec-11-2014-the-continuation0011

I thought you liked me … I thought we were friends
I thought you understood I wasn’t kidding when I told you what scares me

GRH-cookie-hunt-01

How? HOW! Oh how could you not tell me…
it was… it was… Oh my God it was…
one of those monkeys that stole my bells!

Flying Monkey

Indulging myself with something another does … theme song for this little adventure
Ring My Bell would have just been to obvious

Nice stockings you’ve got there, Gary. Who knew you were so stylish?

And suddenly, I’m struck the irony of what my Chinese Zodiac sign may be…

Them shoes… while I wouldn’t mind encountering a pink zebra out in the wild- or the local pub- I don’t think it’s wise to mock such a creature with stilettos. But you may do as you please.
