Bella Terza Rima, Maybe

Bella Terza Rima, Maybe

I’m told the scheme is from romance
Something more in the poetic amore
My first time playing at this dance

Found myself needing to write today
Drifting with the harmony in rhyme
Thinking I’ll love this style’s sway

One’s first try may not reach sublime
Line two of writing follows one and three
Should this fail to soar I shan’t pine

Aye, the style doth differently challenge me
Perhaps tis worthy to read of others pursuit
Much to learn before bidding adieu the plebe

There’d be such the scene were my chest hirsute
Seems a shame to be winding this piece down
The puffing and preening would be an absolute

During writing there was A moment profound
Me thinks the engineers should hear this tragedy
Never, ever, let MS Word read poetry aloud!

There you have it, a first “Terza Rima”. Still not sure where the stop in the scheme should be. When I got in to the flow and the scheme, it is fun and it is a beaut!

A couple weeks back me and “Good Friend” were chattering and Good Friend suggested I do a poem from the titles of songs. Somewhat daunting but not as much so as the thought I’d had about making poetry from lines of different songs. Those two scenarios are akin to asking me which, “Jelly Belly” is my favourite in the delivery truck heading to stock the Candy Store.

A couple days ago I had Spotify open on my “Songs” list page. The thought and urge to create poetry from Album Titles got me.

You read the poetry which is all “Album Titles”. Below is the list of Artists as they appear in, “Enigma”.

Curves and Lines

Curve Challenge

Toronto and I live in the core. Some of the architecture is gorgeous. Some not so much!

Me I do love the craftsman ship and beauty of Cathedrals and Churches.

Writing Prompt: “Right to Brag.”

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Right to Brag.”
Every day in every way. I do not deviate from the path.
I don’t even know if you can call what I do bragging and that isn’t something you get to decide for yourself anyway.
Others decide if you’re a braggart or not.

There is something I’m proud of. While you can be displeased with your conduct I don’t know if proud of your conduct is something you can be. Well maybe if you’re some dangerous kind of deviant and stop yourself from deviant behaviour. I don’t know.

I walk the talk. It’s what I do and it is me. Nothing to brag about or be proud of, it is just me being me.

I am strong without question. I do not care for injustice and will not only speak to it but stand up to injustice.I do not like to see people walked by position statements and I’ll take those on, happily.

I will take those on that are absolutely sure they are absolutely right and they’re just not. An example is in my recent piece over on my other harder site, SMACKED, deservedly so.

For sake of argument lets call it bragging. Here’s more of what I can and do, do.

I took umbrage with an individuals position and let him know about it when I got my snark on. I thought about it and went back at him again with a snark addendum.

I commented the other day about fights that I don’t start them. I’ll walk away when I can. When I’m in them, I enjoy them.

Sometimes I’ll even take on the just plain ugly. 😉
