Jumping at the making of allegations by nameless and faceless entities must stop.
When allegations are made and there is no spine attached to the allegation, you can’t give it credence.
Strange days indeed and that aint no allegation. I wonder if John Lennon would find the days today stranger than or less than what his days were. I also wonder if Vlad Lenin is looking in from where ever he is, stroking his goatee and thinking, “Da Komrads”.
Fractured Factions punching out their truths without fear of repercussion. Have we not all learned that you don’t need to be accountable here in the age of knee jerk reactions to slander or libel. The current star of the knee jerk reaction, if a woman names a man, the man is guilty with out question and the poor hard done by sainted woman doesn’t even have to reveal her name or face. Pretty sweet card to have at your disposal f you’re a game player or maybe just want a woman in a job that a man has.
On the political front the Leaders I’m most aware of are our PM and the POTUS. This is about where their dedicated opposition doesn’t snipe on a comment made. Both of those entities have stated allegations are wrong. No one from anywhere got on the leaders for the statement because all of us, each and everyone of us knows, making allegations without a formal declaration or charge is wrong.
It is too easy in today’s social justice climate to throw an allegation at your mark and have it stick with some faction that demands an immediate hanging out to dry of the person that the allegation names. This is wrong!
Ontario’s PC Leadership race is now over and I wonder how much 2 of the hopefuls were damaged by taking the FemiNazi position of, “if a woman says it and a man is involved, he’s guilty”.
I did see that there were both males and females who were outraged that the “Autoguilt Switch” was installed in Christine Elliot and Caroline Mulroney.
Had the conversation with a few people about what led up to the event, or as I like to say, “The trigger/driver for the event. Elliot and Mulroney did something that appears to be fine for Liberals and the NDP but not for conservatives.
Anyone who doesn’t take a conservative approach to nameless and faceless allegations; not throwing colleagues and friends under a bus to support the Social Justice Warrior position.
Both Mulroney and Elliot had the chance to do the correct thing, the proper thing and make a societal statement and didn’t. They sold out and championed for the FemiNazi ass saving position. Look where it got them both.
Obviously, there was dissension in the party, so we just might want to consider whom had the most to gain by what took place. Elliot ran for the lead previously and lost and she has now lost again.
Conspiracy theorists of which I am not one but when you do the math on this one, someone got the knee jerk reaction they wanted but with Ford winning, I’m reasonably certain they didn’t get the result they expected by thinking the selection process had been set to auto-female.
We cannot give nameless and faceless allegations immediate credence because it is flat out wrong.

It was “PRIDE” weekend in Toronto the weekend just passed, June 23, 24 and 25. Well it’s “PRIDE” month actually. We don’t want to offend some enough to frost you flake by not being all inclusive now do we!
The tone was different this year. The feel in the revelry and celebration that was there in the past, not this time.
There was a tension in the air brought on by PRIDE allying themselves with BLM and excluding Toronto Police. Toronto EMS and Fire backed their police brethren.
I haven’t read anything about the Toronto Parade as I write this. I don’t need to. I don’t need to read some racist or flaky excuse for blowing up a bridge instead of building one. I don’t need some arrogant flake or racist bigot telling me they are absolutely right and everyone else is absolutely wrong.
I don’t need to read anything for what I’ve got to say here.
The thing about not reading and not listening to anything either, as yet, I’m interested in what may have taken place or not at the “Al Quds” March. Checking my spelling, I see Calgary was peaceful so there’s a nice piece of news.
I already stated the feel within “Toronto The Good” was different this year and it was. I’m not the only one who felt it. Haven’t done much talking to others about that feeling and again, I don’t need to.
There were noticeably fewer people here for this year’s parade. I live in the core, lots of hotels and touristy things to do. There were fewer people. One of the lead Service Elves agrees that there were fewer people this year.
As I was walking up one of Toronto’s major streets in the core early yesterday evening I heard the clipity clop of horses and sure enough it’s Toronto Police coming up behind me.
All 3 officers were women. All 3 were flying the PRIDE Flag on their saddles.
As the Officers were passing a couple of people, something was said to them. I don’t know what it was that was said as the person that spoke to the Officers had their back to me.
As the Officers and their Chargers headed slowly down an out of the way side street in to the western sun, it occurred to me just how much the asses of the 3 horses reminded me of John Tory, Kathleen Wynne and Justin Trudeau.
Yes, yes I heard just fine what one of the Officers replied when spoken to, “It’s okay, we’ve got our own parade”.

We are about a year away from the next election in Ontario. The “No Wynne” Liberals are in full save their collective of asses mode.
Billion dollar scandals; The Liberals are infamous for billion dollar scandals! Over paying for electricity, multiple billions in the dumping of surplus electricity, not building gas plants and of course an oldie and a real goodie, the Billion dollar scandal attached to eHealth Ontario.
I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for almost ½ my life. First week of June I’ll be going to a new to me pain clinic. There is nothing of my past history following me around that is readily available to the staff of that clinic. Nothing they can review prior to seeing me for the first time. There is no historical data to compare against.
I’m going to have to relate everything, again. I’m going to have to fill out the same condition information sheets, again. I’m going to have to sign releases, again. I have to do these things all again because there is nothing attached to me for clinic staff to review.
Fortunately, I keep pretty fair records and they are all electronic. The information I’ve got will still require review. We’re going from ground zero and we shouldn’t have to. Part of the reason we have to start over when there is a change, because of the Billion dollar eHealth mess up courtesy of Ontario’s Governing Liberals.
True Wynne wasn’t Premiere in 2009 and McGuinty was. Also true Wynne and her Liberals have screwed up eHealth even more. With performance as the yardstick, I have to believe patronage with Wynne’s brother-in-law attached to eHealth.
Let me make it easy for you and me, your search parameter is, “Kathleen Wynne eHealth Ontario”. You aint gonna like it.
Signing the release to obtain is no guarantee what is being asked for is going to be delivered by the record holder to the record owner, me.
Two requests were made to obtain by my current doctor of my previous doctor. The requests went unanswered.
I’ve had the who owns the records conversation briefly with 2 different doctors over the last couple days. We all agree, the records belong to the patient. Without the patient there are no records to make.
You can get a vehicle repair/maintenance report from a dealership on a used vehicle you are purchasing. If the vehicle is plugged in to the system you get what has been entered. The dealership or mechanics that have worked on the vehicle don’t own the records, the vehicle owner does.
No more should we ever be having a problem with accessing our health records. The capability is here.
Is it fair to have a doctor go back 20 years and convert the patient file to “E” format? No, it isn’t. Is it unreasonable in this age for a doctor to be providing “E” data to the rightful owner after a current visit, no. The vehicle owner gets the mechanics report so why wouldn’t an individual get a report on their machine from the mechanic doctor?
Yes I understand there are a number of hurdles but the end goal is attainable. The end goal is for an individual to be able to control their own historical health information. The end goal would be much closer had Ontario’s Liberals not blown that Billion dollars.
Does Ontario’s Premiere Wicked Witch Wynne really care about the people as she would now have you believe? Electricity rate reduction and high speed rail Toronto – Windsor corridor to name a couple recent carrots being dangled for the proletariat.
“No Wynne” doesn’t care about the people and never has. Shouldn’t hold that against her though. I can’t name any politicians that care about the people. If they did, those politicians would get their party leaders in touch with the peoples anger and voice.
Kathleen Wynne does care about her bullying agenda and telling people what is absolutely best for them. Give Wynne pushback and she brands you or plays a card. The exception being showing up at her doorstep. Do that and then she’ll bend over and kiss your butt.
I came to these conclusions based on Wynne’s performance and oddly enough, Wynne’s lack of performance. You can bet big that Wynne and her Provincial Liberals are on board with the Federal Liberals in trying to eradicate free speech. See Federal Motion, M-103.
How soon do you think the Liberals will introduce “Governmentaphobia” in to a revised motion? All so you can’t talk about government with the scorn and disgust they so richly deserve!
I’ve used and will continue to use this Heritage Plaque that I pass 3 or 4 times a week. We as Ontarians and Canadians are entitled to a certain standard and we just aren’t getting it. Municipal to Provincial to Federal, we aren’t getting what we’re entitled to.
It isn’t wrong to be angry. It isn’t wrong to be vocal. What you do with the anger and the voice can be wrong. Those who would like to make you eat your anger and shut off your voice, that is called emotionally controlling and they’re the ones who are wrong.
Ontario’s next election is on or before June 07, 2018, be relevant!

An entire musical genre will be killed by Autonomous Cars and killin’s a crime! We must save the “Car Tunes”! The evil must be stopped. We simply cannot let the enough to frost you flakes win!
It hit me like a truck carrying 30,000 pounds of bananas. It took my breath away and turned me cold. Left me feeling fuzzy, distorted, like I was looking out of just one eye.
There is conspiracy to set loose this killer in our midst. We must come together and stop them. Stop them before there are none of us left who can even recognize that a dastardly deed was perpetrated!
Autonomous Cars; have you considered what is going to happen to “Car Tunes” and “Cruising”? There will be no more new “just gotta get me in my car and go” tunes. Aint nobody is going to know the pure pleasure of cruising metal so how the hell is anyone going to write new “Car Tunes”?
Reworking, “Row Your Boat” in to, “Roll Your Robot” just aint cutting it for me.
Those of us who love to drive must crush these bastards! Anyone that would do such a despicable thing, you just gotta question their parentage. Are the perpetrators inbred and so lacking in mental acuity they didn’t see it? Are they inherently evil?
Lets just leave it at “Bastard” as representing a file. It is more than fair to say these Bastards are rubbing me and not in a good way!
We should be be real clear about what we are and what we aren’t talking about. We are talking about enjoying driving. I love to just cruise sometimes. Tunes and road with time to think and sing is good for what ails you.
We know what happens when certain songs come on, that urge to pedal faster is compelling. We are not talking about going like a bat out of hell cuz you’re in a hurry. Cruisin, there aint no hurry, ever. If you’re in a hurry, you are not cruising. Simple stuff.
We aint talking about public displays show casing the mine is better and faster than yours set. We aren’t talking about behaviour that’s going to have you kissing your own or anyone’s life away either.
Cruising aint speeding and cruising aint racing. You know what they aren’t so don’t do it.
I’m not going to go through all the players with this. All are much the same so I’ll stick with the Michigan 3.
I see FORD recently gave 1Billion to A.I. research. Yes you American Heavy Metal Muscle fans, FORD is going to be putting Mustang Sally out in the ally, forever. No more ponies but there will be lots of pictures of peonies on the digital viewer during your moderated coastal transport.
Chevrolet, a couple million Killer BOLTS on the run by 2018. Fleets of them Bolts brought to you by dolts. Driverless Fleets, and a good time was had by a few, at bonus time.
So what did they kill? Good times for sure and jobs too. I’m not seeing where each vehicle would require a single operator like a tactical drone. The Bolt is, “an on-demand ride-sharing network application”. It doesn’t cruise, ever.
While I was tuning this baby up, “Good Friend” asked me, “If an autonomous car parks illegally who pays the fine?”. This does resolve a service issue as we will still need these people to crack down on those autonomous villains!
Chrysler, something called the “Portal”. Isn’t that a comforting cozy name? It sounds like space travel and makes me wonder if we’re closer to teleportation than we’re being told. Damn thing doesn’t have any pedals so you just know the vehicle is a mechanism for delivering the blasé.
Yes, “Life Is A Highway” and we can do without the “Rascal Flatts” way of doing it cuz it’s just damn wrong Mr Disney! Supporting Canadian Rock is no different than supporting American Heavy Metal!
On this highway of life, driving yourself is way up there on the pleasure curve. Even in adverse conditions, I’m good and in truth more comfortable having the wheel than being the passenger.
Car Tunes, lots of them! More than even I believed possible. I’ll warn you, some of them aren’t that good.
So if Autonomous Vehicles are the way of the future, will the “Car Tunes” be written by an A.I. with Auto-Tune? Can you imagine what those songs are going to sound like? Ew!
I suppose I can handle the words with things like “Beach Bound” and “Everyone’s Girl” but I’m going to need someone to write the dots cuz I just aint got the skill set.
Girls, you got the drive to drive too. The guys all know there are women that have exactly the same desire as men, the girls who love to go go GO CRUISIN’! Parking is different than cruisin’ which can lead to parking.
See if you road roaming Chickies can work with this…

I couldn’t believe it when the censoring happened. In one of the last places you’d expect to find censorship taking place. It took place in a Scrabble game on POGO.com. For those that don’t know, POGO is a terrific games site run by EA, Electronic Arts.
While I was compiling this piece I had an encounter with Spotify a couple days ago that wasn’t censored.
The specific word is the “N” word. I’m not even real comfortable using that word here within the context I’m talking about. I was completely fine with trying to score points using that “N” word in a word game.
Scrabble; no proper names, no places, no swearing. I had a look at the “Hasbro” site as it’s their game. After a quick read I decided this serves as a better source for reading the “Scrabble Official Rules” than what Hasbro is showing.
I detest both censorship and revisionist history! We’ve all been taught that running in to a crowded theatre and screaming “FIRE” when there is no fire is not free speech and is dangerous and criminal. Nailing your ass to the wall should you wilfully endanger others, I’m good with that.
I wrote a Quoth me piece some time back entitled, “T + W + T = TNT”. It’s about writers and words and yes I qualify.
I spoke with some people about my encounter of censorship in a game. More about those conversations further along.
There will be visual aids and lets please remember we’re talking about words and censorship. After the fact, I tried and there were a couple other words I found I wasn’t able to play, “Rape” and “Slut”.
You can see the tiles in my rack and where I was going to make the word, “Nigger”. Now that I have that out of the way, I’ll go back to using the expression, “N word” because I’m more comfortable expressing with that term and because this isn’t about gratuitous use of a word.
I am competitive. Any game I play, I play to win. I don’t care Thing 1 or Thing 2 about a participation ribbon! It’s about winning the game. Yes I play by the rules.
One of the people I spoke with about the word and censorship, a black woman. This is the same person I called a conservative during one of our conversations. She’ll even play Scrabble with me as long as there is no money on the line. That friend of mine contributed her thoughts to this piece when I asked and I thank her for it. I’ll get to it, further along.
There aren’t many people I know who’ll play that game or any word game with me. How many of y’all would take on someone from the PGA or LPGA straight up? That is Golf for those unaware. Guess again. Those players will beat you handily just using a 3 wood, a 7 iron, a wedge and a putter off any tees you like.
Any game, you want to get off to a good start. I showed my friend another screen capture. Told her this is what it’s about and with hardly any bother, 110 points. Yeah I kick the bots around too.
I made, “Vault”. The Bot makes, “URGE” and oh it was all over but the crying of the Bot’s oily tears right there!
This is where it starts getting real ugly. We are talking censorship. The decision to ban the “N word” ultimately comes down to one individual who signed off on the acceptable word list for Scrabble at Electronic Arts. Those two other words I noted, “Rape” and “Slut”, someone made those unacceptable for game play as well.
I’d of loved to have been in on that meeting. My commentary wouldn’t have been for the genteel or the Politically Correct Set when that decision got made.
Then along comes the gold nugget courtesy of Spotify who let that word go right on through and in fact provided it for me to look at.
I’ve accumulated a lengthy song list on Spotify. You can go see and use what I’ve put together just by looking me up at Spotify. There are no black outs in effect and there never will be.
Spotify creates, “Your Daily Mix”. These mixes are created from songs that are in your library and interspersed with songs the Spotify Bot sees as something you might like. At Spotify just like at POGO, someone had to program those Bots.
I like some of the stuff of, “Sly and the Family Stone”. Didn’t know their tune, “Don’t call me Nigger, Whitey” at all so thanks Spotify! I could of done without hearing it. I could of done without cuz it’s just not a good tune.
It certainly appears the good people at Spotify are just leaving the art alone and this is so good!
THE CONVERSATIONS
I talked to half a dozen people about the encounter I had with that “N” word to get their thoughts and feelings.
A Black Woman, a Caucasian Jew, a 1st Gen Canadian Film Maker, an Actor, a White Woman and of course, Good Friend.
Each and every one of us involved in this little adventure displayed some raw emotion. The question was asked on banning the word. Making the word “nigger” just disappear so no one can use it in any way, shape or form.
The Black Woman, she wondered about a couple other words that could be attached to a ban list and those two words are “Honky” and “Spic”. This same individual did a Google search and returned to me that the “N” word is listed as, “THE most offensive word in the English language”.
One of those people on initial response said the word should be banned. After discussion that position changed.
If you’d like a someone else’s perspective on words and language and how it isn’t the words that are evil, have a look at “George Carlin on Language”. If you haven’t heard George on language and words, you’re in for a treat or apoplexy.
The “N” word along with the battle flag of the Confederacy and the Nazi Swastika must never be eradicated. They are symbols and reminders of where we were and where we don’t ever want to go again.
Everybody in this little word circle agrees that what the word represents is atrocious. We all agree it shouldn’t be forgotten.
We also agree that if you’re so inclined to think racial slurs, we’d appreciate you just coming out and saying them so everyone around you can identify you for what you are by your own admissions.
I could get in to root origin of the word but in this argument, the origin of the word is irrelevant.
Me personally, no word offends me. The assholes behind those words and symbols, yeah they offend me plenty.
Words and History must be preserved. History and words are our lessons and our compass.
I’m going to close this out with a different word and that word is, “INSIDIOUS”.
It is conceivable as our digital age moves along that one person by changing a “0” to a “1” in a single line of code can make a word vanish as if it never existed.
Censorship is wrong.
Freedom of Speech is right.

I’ve been saying we need a damn good protest movement once again. I’ve been thinking we need that movement longer than I’ve been saying we need it.
Something else I’ve maintained for at least a decade is that Orwell missed it by 50 years. I’m more convinced today than I was 10 years ago or 20 years ago that he missed by 50 and we are closing in on 2034 real fast.
If you are of a RITE you are best served by moving along back to the barn because there is nothing here for you.
I’ve had a lot to say and haven’t said much. I’m not alone. Been keeping eyes and ears on the raving fanatics and sycophants of various RITE; mostly those of the raving political RITE. Politics is their religion and you shall hear their RITE words and you shall embrace them or you shall be branded with being that of which they rage against. That goes for all of them as they are all the same.
Me? How do I get to this heart and belief space? I’m a Teller. I’ve stated that my writing is based on observation, feeling and experience. Sometimes, those writings are of my own observed felt experience. If you prefer, you can think of me as a raconteur. I’m a Watcher and a Teller. I’ve always had a curious nature and I am an accredited Life Coach. I’m a Watcher, a Questioner and a Teller.
Those who know me, they know how so very much music means to me. Music is playing far, far more than television. Television serves the great purpose of being able to go see what I’ve read.
In my telling I’ve noted that with those of the RITE, there are some animals more equal than others. Anyone think maybe Bob Dylan saw it, knew it and said it almost 40 years ago? Then again what would an Oscar winner know; isn’t that right you of the RITE that are still reading.
The last 2 lyrics I wrote are protest, “Once Again” and “No More Yesterdays”. I do not like what is taking place in the world. I don’t like what is being done by those who are more equal than others, (Globalization Liberals) anymore than I like the bullying being done by any special interest groups.
When I was looking at the page with 2 lines to go on “No More Yesterdays”, (not the last 2 lines of verse in the piece) Bob Dylan’s, “Slow Train Coming” came up in my music shuffle. Now I’ll admit you gotta make sure you’re actually hearing what Bob is speaking at times. After decades of practice, my Bob speak is pretty damn good.
After all these years, I heard “Slow Train” differently. I’m convinced Slow Train is a protest song and not a gospel song. In the last verse Dylan wrote, and I checked, “Turning my loved ones in to puppets”. Before yesterday I never bothered to go look and just figured what sounds like, “PUPPIES” was just Bob speak for puppets. Re-evaluating, I thought it was just possible Dylan had written “PUPPIES” all those years ago. In the context of the song it makes perfect sense.
So maybe Dylan wrote one thing and sang something else that would give acknowledgement to and correlation with someone else’s work. A work that he’d read and appreciates. I’m talking about something that was required reading for many of us, George Orwell’s, “Animal Farm”. In Animal Farm, the puppies are turned in to the security force to serve those animals who are “more equal than others”. I’m not seeing a whole hell of a lot of difference between puppets and puppies in this scenario.
In the same song Dylan writes, “Deciding America’s future from Amsterdam and to Paris”. Anyone for the centralization of power with foreseeing what the EU was going to be perhaps?
Not a single person I’ve talked to wants some like design of the EU here in Canada or in the United States.
BREXIT, rejecting centralization of power. TRUMP winning POTUS, partially due to the push for globalization. Canada, Trudeau pushing for the centralization of power within the party and taking backlash from within the party for it.
None of us want to be told what we must do with our Countries by those who are not of our country!
None of us want taxation without representation under globalization.
Those Globalists looking to centralize power and create a proletariat aren’t telling you something very important. For there to be a true global village some things have to change and Dylan said that too, “Counting the cost”.
I see it as some things will have to die to achieve that Global Village utopia. Yes I have definitive ideas on what must die.
What are you prepared to let die, kill or defend to achieve the vision of someone that will take away from you and assign you rights in Orwellian fashion?
Those not of a RITE; we do outnumber those trying to batten people down and take away everyone’s choice and voice. We must grow louder and more insistent.
A generation is 20 years. Dylan’s Academy Award Winning Song, close enough to a generation after “Slow Train” and it makes me think and it makes me wonder. I think and wonder if in those two songs a generation apart, Bob was saying, “I showed you and I told you what I was seeing and now I’m done telling you because truly, Things Have Changed”.
Have a good look around and take a listen, just For What It’s Worth. You may find not a whole lot has changed for the better and in some cases not at all in fifty plus years.
One thing is certain, the battle lines have been drawn!

It’s My Rite Right!
Had this piece on the go for a while and I find myself back to the start for a preamble so to speak after conversations with a couple friends and an elf. The elf would be one of them coffee elves I like and appreciate.
I am a Canadian first, an Ontarian second and a Torontonian third. Yes, we must deal with the order inversely in our daily lives. Our daily lives go on at the municipal, then provincial and finally the federal level.
Me and the elf were talking about faces, specifically faces in our Provincial and Federal politics. We are talking leaders here and the elf nailed it, I don’t like anybody.
I had to think about it when the elf asked me who I did like. One I liked and were our Canadian politics like that of our friends below us in the USA where you are voting for an individual, this person would have got my vote where the Party never could. That person is Ed Broadbent. I liked him a lot.
I’ve liked facets of others and they include Jean Chretien, Bill Davis, Mike Harris, Paul Martin, Jack Layton and yes Stephen Harper. I don’t know enough about Elizabeth May to say one way or another but she seems okay.
There have been a couple I’ve come to despise, Dalton McGuinty and Kathleen Wynne.
There are three for me that invited immediate disdain, distrust and foreboding. They are Bob, “I’m now currently a Liberal” Rae and the misfit boy toys that are Pierre and Justin Trudeau.
I’ve been following and participating in political feeds in social media. Been doing it some since a few weeks prior to Canada’s national election mid October, 2015.
I’ve been keeping an eye to what is going on over the back fence too. Hello family and friends in the US of A! I see the FBI isn’t charging Hillary. With what the FBI said about Hillary’s behaviour, “extremely careless”, doesn’t that just make you all warm and fuzzy on the competence level she displays!
Prior to Canada’s election the stance taking and posturing of all those who were absolutely right that governance their fanatical way was the only way, was indeed something to see. I’m seeing the same behaviour State side. America has a whole different issue and their choices are much more contracted than Canada’s choices were.
This story and my feelings on the matters I’ve observed have been developing in to a narrow focus. Focusing on what I’ve observed about Political Parties and their followers that display as sycophants.
The sycophants never deviating from what they vote. The singular narrow focus of the vapour locked mindset.
Heaven help anyone that disagreed with the divine ones I’ve observed because you were being sent straight to hell for deviant behaviour.
That scared the crap out of me it did! Hey my guardian angel is Lucifer and lemme tell ya, Luci didn’t tell me that hell was filled with all those self righteous sanctimonious sycophants. I’m going to have to have a talk with that Angel of mine and see about getting all those malignant souls moved to purgatory!
Mindset is what we’re talking about here. The mindset of the lifelong devotee to a single political party. Never looking at other points of view and perspectives. They know in the bottom of their little black hearts that their rite is right. No one ever needs anything different because what they believe by their political religion should be believed by everyone.
Those of you with the locked in tunnel vision that declare as “Liberal”, I got a bulletin for you. You are exactly the same thing you rage against in a different skin. There is no difference between you UltraLiberals and the NeoConservatives or the Dippers. You all buy the party line and vilely vomit back the doctrine and gospel according to your Party.
I see zero tolerance and consideration for others and their views. Not terribly Liberal is it? The conclusion I’ve reached is the last thing about a Liberal is their liberality.
You do not get to be Liberal just by declaring yourself one. Those around you decide if you are liberal by how you conduct yourself.
I referred to myself as having my focus narrow. The difference is I’ve been looking at a hell of a lot of behaviours before reaching conclusion.
Some of those UltraLiberals, with commentary I’ve made that criticizes their anointed leader Justin Trudeau have decreed me to be a Conservative. I’m not. I’m a centrist.
Something else the zealot Liberal fails to take in to consideration when their shiny pony is being taken to task is that their shiny pony is the focus because Liberal with majority is the current flavour!
What the ones with tunnel vision don’t get is that Trudeau as the current flavour stick, it is what he and the Liberal party are doing that is to be watched and criticized, condemned or congratulated.
Of course I have my own ideas of what is a good behaviour and what is bad behaviour. That doesn’t matter to anyone of the Kool-aid set.
The rage against and for Stephen Harper. I know there are UltraLiberals who’ve read what I related and said nothing. I’m a writer and an observer. I understand that no comment can indeed be a comment.

I’ve said this and I meant it about Stephen Harper.
Harper should have stepped aside 1 year before election. There were indicators and the CPC should have acted. I’ll get to that!
Stephen Harper did himself, his family, his constituents and this country a great disservice by hanging on when he knew he’d had enough.
I think that when Harper got half way through the campaign it hit him that he couldn’t do 4 more years and that is when he went right off the rails.
What no one takes in to account is the leader of a country be it Prime Minister, President, Chancellor, whatever the designation may be, the leader never gets so much as 1 second off. It wears on you. If you have any conscious and conscience, it has to wear on you. You may be calling something a vacation but this is the bottom line; if something serious enough happens, you are getting the call. You damn well know you’ll be getting a call and you wear it as it wears on you.
Stephen Harper, thank you for your service to Canada. Enjoy what comes next in your life.
This is where I get to it and this brings us to the real villains, the parties themselves. It is all backwards and more and more people are noting it and speaking up against it. The vision of the Leader, what a crock! Our elected officials have got this stuff all backwards.
The Leader is supposed to be representing the vision of the party. The elected are supposed to be in tune and representing their constituents who put them in a seat. It isn’t happening that way and there is only one way these fools are going to get it, you take them out of the seat.
The “Leader” and their advisors are running roughshod over the elected member. The elected member who cares nothing about the people that put them in office kowtow to the Leader. Those elected because they’re afraid of being dismissed from the party and facing pressure to flat out resign their seat.
An advisor never has the right to address caucus as if they are the Leader. Currently Butts & Telford who don’t have a seat and can address the Liberal caucus with Trudeau’s blessing. Before UltraLiberals start spouting the vitriol, it was the Liberal Caucus themselves that leaked it to the press.
I believe Canada needs a term of service for the Leaders and Prime Minister. The parties riding the horse in to the ground then vilifying the carcass. How wrong is that behaviour? If the party itself had a spine they’d be keeping the Leader in check and none of them are doing it.
Next up sycophants and others! Those being designated as sycophants for this purpose are the UltraLiberals, NeoConservatives and Naturally Delusional NDPers. Sorry BQ while you have your deeply warped followers, not being a National Party we all know exactly what you’re about and you fall in to the other category. Green Party I do appreciate that you ran in every riding in Canada’s last election and I give you full marks for being so fully engaged!
It’s now 9 months past the Canadian election and the war rages on. The political religious rites of all sides continue to be championed and vilified by their respective sycophants. I’m seeing lemming behaviour in the blaming and justifying as well from all sides.
There are a few months to go before our American friends and neighbours pick a President. The war that is the political rite rages on for them and will go on after their election concludes as well.
I was talking with a woman from New York City who lives here in Toronto the other day about our cities and countries. She was upset over the FBI finding. We talked about it and we both like Bernie. Doesn’t look like that’s going to happen but it just might.
The 7% solution. No single party in Canada has the numbers on their own to get the big chair in Ottawa. It isn’t possible. If you look at the result for the Conservative majority in 2011 and the Liberal majority in 2015 the numbers are the same. No real difference in the numbers for the winner, 39.5% is close enough.
What moved is where the centrists put their votes. Those 7% decide who gets the chair. Simple stuff. The faithful party voters just cancel each other out and don’t mean a whole lot in the grand scheme.
The parties themselves know the number and it is that 7% they are trying to land. You faithful don’t matter. Of course they don’t want to drive anyone away so under usual circumstances the party doesn’t deviate that far from their platform.
We, all of us together cannot afford those who are absolutely sure their Rite is Right. We need thinking competent people who read, watch and listen to multiple sources before making a decision as to what “X” they’re going to mark on the ballot.
It is up to us lowly citizens to keep the politicians in check. That is our job! The job cannot be done properly by people who aren’t paying attention to the world. For all levels, it is our job to put the people in the seats that will carry their constituents voice up the chain and ensure what we say is heard and acted upon.
This is a hard world. There is world war going on and a war on the world taking place at the same time.
We Canadians shouldn’t be taking each other on, it’s not what we do. The politicians love it because if we’re at each other we aren’t watching them.
Liberals tax and spend because it’s what they do. Conservatives tighten the screws because that’s what they do.
We aren’t getting responsible government. We aren’t getting what we are supposed to be getting from the circuses that are the political parties. It’s happening here at home and from what I read, and hear from friends and family, it isn’t happening in the USA either. No responsible government.
Here in Canada we have a precedent. In my travels I pass the heritage commemorative 3 or 4 times a week and lately, it makes me angry when I pass the plaque. We the citizens are not being served as we should be by the politicians we elect at any level. Responsible Government is nonexistent!

We got a real good look at just what Canada is about with the countries refugee revolt. The current flavour sticks had to listen because 66% of the country was saying the same thing. That number of 66% means there are both die hard Liberals and Conservatives thinking and feeling the same thing, DO IT and DO IT RIGHT! If the Liberal date and time stamp wasn’t going to get met, tough! Why? Because getting it right mattered more to Canadians.
Currently the politicians aren’t afraid of us and they should be. I made that observance in a parody shot at the current flavour stick that I did.
I’m not talking about taking the politicos out behind the woodshed and beating them with a big stick. As appealing that may be on some days we just can’t do that. They have to be afraid our vote will go elsewhere and the politicians just aren’t. They see what we do and they know they’ll get their shot. The tax and spend Liberals and the tighten the screws Conservatives. We turn them over fairly regularly and they know their turn will come if they don’t screw up too bad NDP.
Join the light side. The side that scares the crap out of politicians. The thinking, watching and chair deciding side.
Don’t give any political party your undying affiliation and ensure you are personally making a real difference!
