Corridor’s End

Corridor’s End

Perfectly frozen, staring intently in to the icy eyes of one’s own reflection
All that surrounds begins to melt, sinking into a deep dank nothingness
Silent to the ear, drips reverberate through the hallways of a fractured mind
Shattering the glass, bloody fingers smear tracks down tear stained cheeks
Abandonment, shredding the trappings of an others emotional control
Gnawing viciously at the hands of the sorcerer holding the putrid gag

Nowhere to be, what flew from heaven at your sound
Kneeling and praying, the sound of the wings just not around
Now it’s gone, no more when you call is an angel found

Echoing, blow after blow, insidious voice rises higher, rains down faster
Slipping, falling, panicking, scrambling away on ravaged shard filled knees
Overture for the forlorn souls playing over and over on a macabre loop
Filling the slime ridden corridors of stone with tones of impending doom
If only there might be a moments respite, a brief release from unholy order
Lurching forward, looking backward, diverging runaways, fright in flight

Nowhere to be, what flew from heaven at your sound
Hoping and praying, the sound of the wings just not around
Now it’s gone, no more when you call is an angel found

Lamenting, agonizing, singing solo, a chorus of tormented tortured screams
In lonely darkness the minds last hope goes where there is no return from sin
Marionette strings cutting like a razor through flesh, sawing at the bone
Puerile pleading, ecclesiastic demon screeching for the puppets return
Everlasting mercy the hope and prayer throughout the spiralling fall
Life was never meant to be danced at the ends of ropes

Nowhere to be, what flew from heaven at your sound
Falling and praying, the sound of the wings just not around
Now it’s gone, no more when you call is an angel found
No angel to save you as your body hits the ground

You can certainly call me Gary!

Can’t wait to read what is coming from you Paris. I’m enjoying your musings!

Off my about page here at wordpress there is an other avenue and it will lead you to oddly enough, some of my pictures. My microsite has the other avenues to my various incarnations.

You are very welcome if so inclined!
